FAQs
Can puppies join playgroup?
Puppies are encouraged to attend play groups once they have received their first three vaccinations. Short at-home visits may be scheduled for very young puppies to help with potty training until they are ready to join the daily outings. The rabies vaccination must be completed on schedule and verified by your veterinarian to continue in play groups.
How does my dog join?
Contact K-9 Club to set up an initial interview. A service contract, veterinarian release, and liability waiver must be signed at the interview. Keys will be picked up at the interview and payment will be expected on the first day of service each week.
What happens if it is raining or snowing?
Play groups will be cancelled due to severe weather (determined by Johnson County school closings in the winter or thunderstorms throughout the year). In the event of sever weather, K-9 Club reserves the right to modify doggie adventures.
What are the health requirements?
K-9 Club requires that all dogs be current on all vaccinations and preventatives including: Rabies, Bordetella Heartworm, and Flea/Tick. Current medical records will be required annually along with a veterinarian health release.
Is K-9 Club bonded and insured?
Yes, it is bonded and insured through the Business Insurers of the Carolinas.
